Dan Crenshaw Scolded Parents Who Took Their Children To A Drag Show

According to Republican representative Dan Crenshaw, some parents are so “open-minded” that their brains have fallen out. The reason behind this declaration is a video that shows kids from age seven in a drag queen show in Dallas.

“This is really deranged, it’s also proof that when you’re too open-minded, your brains fall out. Clearly, these parents lost their minds a long time ago” he tweeted. 

The show Crenshaw was referring to was called the “Drag the kids to pride” and among other scandalous elements there was a neon sign that said, “It’s not gonna lick itself”. It took place in the bar Ms. Misster and kids from age seven attended with their parents. 

On a Twitter Thread, Crenshaw expressed his judgments, mostly directed to the parents: “Let me ask you: When parents want to introduce their kids to straight sex, they don’t take them to a strip club or burlesque show, do they? Is this hyper-sexual drag show supposed to accurately represent the gay community?” 

In the video, kids were handing money to one of the performers and having fun. Crenshaw wasn’t the only republican that felt the need to show his discomfort, Rep. Slaton wrote in a statement he will fill a bill to prohibit the presence of kids in Drag shows. 

“The events of this past weekend were horrifying and show a disturbing trend in which perverted adults are obsessed with sexualizing young children. As a father of two young children, I would never take my kids to a drag show and I know speaker Dade Phelan and the rest of the Republican colleagues wouldn’t either.”

Rep. Slaton added he will continue fighting against sex change therapies and qualify them as “child abuse”.
