Judge Lina Hidalgo to Interview Speaker Pelosi at Virtual Democrat Event

Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo is set to interview U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi at a virtual fundraiser for local Democrats next Thursday.

The annual Harris County Democratic Party’s Johnson Rayburn Richards Fundraiser will also feature the Democratic National Committee Chairman, Jaime Harrison.

According to Harris County Democratic Party Chairwoman Lillie Schecter, Speaker Pelosi, a native Californian, has acknowledged the key role of Harris County in national politics, something that is to make the interview with Judge Hidalgo much more interesting.

The discussions at the event will be aimed at finding ways to improve the wrongdoings that remain after the Trump administration.

“As Harris County Democrats, it is more important than ever to unite with our national Democrats in the continued fight for social justice,” said Schecter in a statement.
