Democratic Judge Gisela Triana is running for Texas Supreme Court Place 8 against Republican Brett Busby. Busby nominated to the Texas Supreme Court by Governor Greg Abbott in 2019 and confirmed by the Texas Senate, previously, served as a Justice of the Fourteenth Court of Appeals of Texas. Judge Triana won the Democratic Primary with 72.0% of the vote against Peter Kelly.
