Is Henry Cuellar A Stoner?

One can never assume what is going on inside the intricate mind of a congressman, especially one like U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar – a moderate Democrat whose home was recently raided by the FBI, while being entangled in a heated runoff election.

However, it is safe to assume he is not rolling joints for his fellow comrades.

Just last week, he stabbed the democratic party in the back voting against a bill that would legalize mary jane – he was one of just two democrats who went against the party’s wishes. 

The bill – named the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act — removes marijuana from the list of federally controlled substances and eliminates criminal penalties for people who possess, manufacture and distribute the drug.

This could help shift how marijuana-related arrests disproportionately affect people of color and low-income communities.

A topic that seems to slip Cuellar’s mind, and he’s not even high.

In January, the Laredo congressman’s home was raided by the FBI, and even though they did not disclose any information about what they were looking for, it is safe to assume it wasn’t pot… or bongs. 

However, this leaves the case wide open, what exactly were they looking for?
