As energy prices grow in Texas, the Louisiana-based company Entergy will offer one-time credits to their customers in Texas. The credit will give $150 dollars to the customers to pay their energy bills.
According to the Dallas Morning News’ Mitchell Sherman, the average price-per-kilowatt hour of electricity for Texas residents increased 70 percent from June 2021 to June 2022. This situation has enraged and preoccupied some Texas residents. Some people blamed Biden for the increases and some others think is a state’s problem but the point is that there is no yet a solution for this. Entergy announced in their web site that they created the credit with a $1.3 million grant for the Greater Houston Area.
Entergy customers will be eligible for this one-time credit starting Monday October 1 at 9:00am
