The final day of the 2020 Democratic National Convention introduced the nation to the Joe Biden that his friends, family and colleagues know. Former Vice-President Joe Biden officially accepted the Democratic Party nomination for President and laid out a vision that included compassion, decisiveness and unity.

The evening’s theme was “America’s Promise” and Biden succeeded in conveying a message of hope, promise and leadership.

“While I’ll be a Democratic candidate, I’ll be an American president. That’s the job of the president — to represent all of us, not just our base or our party.”

Joe Biden
