Organizers of the Big #KindnessDuck Party have announced on Friday the event was pushed back to October 1-3. Known as the “world’s largest rubber duck,” the bath toy was set to float on the Trinity River on July 23-25 prior to the delay.
The festival accompanying the rubber duck is a fundraiser for the Kindness Duck Project, an organization dedicated to spreading kindness.
As part of the festival, there will be a “Charity Lane” where a number of nonprofits will be featured, “Food Truck Row” with over 25 food trucks, and “Vendor Alley” where vendors will sell a myriad of things.
“We look forward to Planting Kindness, Growing Kindness, and Sharing Kindness from now until the Big #KindnessDuck Party in October when Mama Duck will be flying South!” The foundation said.
